• Obituary: Monday, 6 Jul 1970, Chattanooga Times, page 2. SPRAGUE----MRS. INA KALLEEN of 221 Hillcrest, widow of Claude E. Sprague, died Saturday evening in a local nursing home. Mrs. Sprague was born in Ponliso, Ill, the daughter of the late James (this is twice it is shown as James, not John) C. and Louisa Laing Kalleen. Mrs. Sprague organized and taught the Sprague Bible Class in 1928 at the Brainerd Baptist Church, she was on the board of directors of the Federated Missionary Society, a member of the Branerd Baptist Church, for 25 years she was president of Ocoee and Hamilton County Women's Missionary Union, teacher for 50 years of the Women's Bible classes, including the Shahan Class of First Baptist Church, Bible Committee for Chattanooga Schools, ad on the Board of Y.W.C.A. Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. B. L. Adler, Mrs T. L. Roberts and Mrs. E. M. Moore all of Chattanooga; Mrs. Clement Edmunds, Philadelphia and Mrs. Bentlley Wallace, Cullman, Ala.; 12 grandchildren/ 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Brainderd Baptist Church with the Rev. J. Ralph McIntyre and Dr. Lee Roberson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Paul Wright, John K. Sprague Jr., William M. Moore, James Allen Sprague, Houston Patterson and John P. Cunningham. The body is at the Wann Funneral Home, Inc., 4000 Tennessee Ave. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to funeral time.

Ina married Claude E. Spraque. (Claude E. Spraque was born in Nov 1875 in Tennessee and died on 17 Nov 1930 in Chattanooga, Hamilton Co., TN.)
