Former Executive With O. B. Andrews, Earlier Headed Company in Indiana
James L. Kalleen, former Chattanooga business executive and brother of Mrs. Claude E. Sprague of this city, died yesterday at his home in Miami, Fla. He was 73.
A native of Indianapolis, Mr. Kalleen was president of a box manufacturing firm in his home city for 20 years before becoming associated with the O. B. Andrews Company here.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. W. E. Hensley, Birmingham, and Mrs. Sprague; one brother, John Roy Kalleen of St. Louis, MO.
Funeral services and burial will be in Indianapolis. Arrangements will be announced.
James married Mary Ellen McLaughlin, daughter of Unknown and Stella. (Mary Ellen McLaughlin was born on 6 Dec 1905 in Illinois and died on 13 Sep 1984 in Davenport, Polk Co., FL.)
